A Rainy Day!

Haven't been blogging as was really caught up with work, work, and more work! hahaha!
However, really have to shout out what happened while I was on my way to work in the morning today~

Had a really bad start as it was raining cats and dogs and I think the worse thing that can happen in a morning (where not much shops will be open for my aid) and on a rainy day is when your slippers just snapped and spoil. My slippers actually did that! ARGH!

It was raining so heavily and I was half drenched as I kept trying to fix back my slippers while walking to my office, however to no avail. Hence, without much hesitation, I took off my slippers and walked bare footed all the way to my office in the heavy rain.
The scenario might sound a little tragic but I thought that it was actually quite fun to walk in the rain bare footed...hahaha!

Of course I would like to thank God for my lovely mr boyfriend who always does not fail to be there in my times of need! HE BROUGHT ME A PAIR OF SLIPPERS! THANKS A LOT my skinny boy :))

ok... tuition time... haha..

The Cathay Restaurant

Met up with Mr Boyfriend to have dinner with his mummy and uncle and it was "A.T.A.S"~

Now let's show you their mouthwatering and pricey food......they were very delicious!

First dish...Melon Soup! MY FAVOURITE!

Second dish...Salted egg scallop! Just one big scallop(**)

Third dish...Cod Fish! Yum~

Forth dish...Bean curd with Crab and Scallop! Mr Boyfriend's Favourite!

Last dish...Salted egg CRAB!

and my tummy bloated hahaha!

We had Bens and Jerry ice-cream after that! :D

It was a great dinner! Thank you aunty and uncle! *however I think eating such food once in a longgggg while is enough hahaha*

So Adorable!

Well, 'this' had happened some time ago...wanted to blog about it but was totally caught up with other commitments~

Sweetie Pie bought me to eat 翡翠 Steamboat buffet located at Holland that fruitful day (Sunday 11-9-11) . It was my first time trying and it was awesome! :)
But before heading there for dinner, we decided to have a pinch of sweetness... went to........ISLAND CREAMERY!

So we gotta get some toothsome plus brain freezing appetizer to cool ourselves down before a sumptuous hot steamboat :D

They have 3 kinds of desserts to choose from and I got the red bean one. Not nice :( LOL! (Don't choose that if you're gonna eat there next time!)

It's kinda expensive but it's really worth a try as the food there taste good =) 7.5 out of 10!

I made a severe careless mistake at work today. I ACTUALLY LEFT MY WORK KEYS IN THE OFFICE! GOSH! And~ I was stuck outside the office! (T.T) My boss could not save me as she went for a business trip overseas. I was panicking like an ant running on a hot pot! However, I believed that the Holy Spirit was with me all along. I called Mr Boyfriend immediately as I was panicky. We prayed and I took actions. I went to call the landlord to seek help and thank God, with all the "callings for help", I managed to get myself back into the office! I really thank God that I did not have to acquire the "key system" company to come all the way down to help me open the door which cost money. Praise The Lord!

Warriorbee also wants to give thanks to the Lord for a fantastic Gkidz Outing and something which was amazing that I really have to thank God for!

It was an exciting night last Saturday as we gathered together for a time of water splashing - 40Up party for the children!

What a marvelous party we had! ;D

However, something grave happened after the water carnival. Due to Eliz and my careless assumptions, we made a mistake by putting our friend's watch into a bag that does not belong to her. We were both panicky when we knew about this incident and I began to pray. After I prayed, I had a gut feeling that it may be in one of the leader's bag, whom I know hence Eliz and I quickly confronted her and... PRAISE THE LORD! The watch was indeed in her bag!

I do not believe that my memory was that great nor my knowledge in handling situation was good enough, but I believed that God was with me throughout these problems and it was indeed stunning how they were being resolved!

Praise The Lord! :)

A New Journey

Have been working for a week now :) Looking forward to the growth of the company!

As I mentioned that I had a photo shot last Saturday and it was actually purely "just for fun". However, my boss actually thought that it was not a bad shot and so was my face portrayed on the company's website. It looks kinda hilarious! Haha!

Was supposed to have met up with Mr boyfriend straight after work, however he was caught up with his work and we have to shorten our meet up. Argh! :( It's sometimes kinda tough to meet up when you start working full time...especially when both of us have so many other commitments. I guess that's what it call - absence make the heart goes fonder

Still, I Thank God for everything! :)

I thank God for a good boss, a near location! There are so many things on hand to do and to learn. Now I really realized that working full time is actually tiring as I have always heard from my lovelies whom have started full time work before me. There are so many things to rush, seriously there is no time for msn or facebook while working.

I fell sick after the first day of work. Had a really bad sore throat and fever but thank God that I recovered the next day!

Went for photo shooting today and it was really hilarious. It was my first time experiencing modeling photo shooting as I am always working behind the scene as a designer. It was hilarious as I see how thick the make up has to be, the poses (OMG), I can't even pose! LOL! They think my positions and smiles are too cute. From my experience, I really think that as a model, you have to have that kinda "ELEGANT AOURA" and of course, GOOD FIGURES! My figure is CMI :D
However, it was great fun experience overall!

Tonight's Gkidz went out to serve the poor by packing packet of uncooked rice for the families living in one room flat! The girls were all eager to give and felt really happy to give as well, however we have many left overs which made them felt a little disappointed but thank God for good weather and safety! GOOD JOB KIDS & LEADERS! ;)

Last Day of Enjoyment \(>o<)/

Today is the last day for warriorbee to enjoy freedom and back to beeezy life ahead as I'll be starting work tomorrow ;)

Anyway, there will not be much pictures posted for recent postings as my lappy's CPU fan has officially spoiled. I tried out a few times to see whether I still can use it, however it was quite dangerous as the lappy got heated up really fast. I was afraid of the risk of explosion hence would not use it.

Had a great day today with my dearest Eliz for a so called "last weekday" outing! ;) We went swimming and just walk around after that! Thanks for the company girl! ;) I was actually feeling quite excited about starting work as I'll be learning so many new things soon and of course one of the major one is to befriend Macintosh OS and get a hold of it completely! Muhahaha!

I pray for a smooth day of work tomorrow! Same for all my lovelies whom are working tomorrow!

Finally managed to have a meal with mummy who has half day off today ;) Went to Manhattan and after that had these toothsome desserts :))

Went to Gideon/Elaine's house together with Marcus after that for a jamming session and it was really fun! However, I do not have the recordings with me hence could not be listened/viewed here ;D
We did 2 worship songs and it was really great praising the Lord!

Went swimming at Buona Vista Swimming Complex alone today and the water was real salty! YUCK! Not nice! Hahaha.... However, it was still a pleasant swim exercising alone :) After that, met up with my ah ying, dil dil and ah huey for dinner! :) It was really awesome as we chat and played "MONOPOLY DEAL"! HAHAHA!

Jehovah Rapha - Our Healer

The cell group went to pray for the sick on 21-8-2011, Sunday. We went to Cher's grandma's house to pray for her. Thank God for "Nathan" - xiushi's and daniel's lovely baby son who brought smiles to the grandparents. It was quite a challenge for us to pray in chinese but we did it :)

He was a little heavy for me arms~ (#.#) Carried him a little low and guess what he started to do? He started to lick my hand and watch! LOL! SUPER ADORABLE... :pPp I was like,"Nathan nooooooooooooo lick lick, dirty!" but to no avail he kept sticking out his tongue to lick my hand.. hahaha! CUTE!

After that, we continued our journey of praying for the sick at Tam's house, to pray for her grandma. It was a great one :) Her grandma was very receptive and was perky ;) We claim that these 2 grandmas will be healed in the name of Jesus!

There was also a lovely little one at Tam's house :) TahDah! Her name is Aki :) (look like a fox)

Treasure Hunt

Today's Gkidz was amazing!

We had a treasure hunting session today. Well, it's not hiding something and find that thing out but rather asking the Holy Spirit to guide us to our treasure.
First, we asked for visions and clues from the Holy Spirit...It can be a picture, a word, a sign etc...

2 of our girls got a similar pictures and the rest got pictures of trees, a malay man with a red shirt, a man with orange shirt and a lady who will walk out of 7-eleven holding a brain-freeze drink. I got a picture that a car would be park at THE tree, Eliz got a picture of a ribbon. We put the pictures together and pieced them up!

Next amazing thing was, we saw a car parking directly in front of the particular tree that one of my girl saw. We were all searching for our treasures, we got 2 of our treasures - the orange shirt boy and the red shirt malay guy. We did not manage to find our lady with brain-freeze drink. The experience was awesome, seeing how the girls were so enthusiastic to find their treasures. We, as leaders, were encouraged as well :)

Just some thoughts in my mind:
What is the meaning of matrimonial for a couple, if the couple has already done everything that should be done after a matrimonial? Is the marriage still a sacred and special one since all has already been experienced b4 marriage, then what's the point of getting married just for the status?

Singapore's four Presidential candidates have shared their plans in their first television broadcast on Thursday.
Dr Tan Cheng Bock reminded Singaporeans of his background as he shared his career as a medical doctor in Ama Keng, a poor village in Lim Chu Kang, to voicing the dreams of Singaporeans in Parliament for 26 years.
He then spoke on the growing desire for a clear distinction between the government and the office of the President.
"To strengthen the independence of the Presidency, one of my proposals will be to ask the government to shift its operations from the Istana grounds to another location," said the 71-year-old.
"The Prime Minister and Cabinet offices should not be housed in the same compound as the President, as this familiarity attracts unwanted suspicion of undue influence. It may sound drastic but I believe this is the correct thing to do for Singaporeans," he added.
Dr Tan said that the separation between the President and government is critical to public confidence as the physical separation will further assure the people that the two institutions are independent of each other.
"The Office of the President and the government must not be seen as the same. Under the Constitution, their powers are separate. Let's keep them separate," he added.
The former People's Action Party Member of Parliament also shared his plans to introduce an annual statement to let Singaporeans know whether the President is doing his job in safeguarding the reserves, their CPF, the appointment of civil servants, charitable activities, and national identity programmes in the arts, sports and culture.

Tan Jee Say reminded Singaporeans that the purpose of direct election is to give moral authority to the President to provide checks and balances on the government.
He stressed that the President must be independent of the ruling party and only such an independent person can have the moral authority to check on the Government.
"He must not be influenced or hampered by past ties with the ruling party. If his ties with the ruling party had been long and strong, it will be difficult for the person to shake off the emotional ties he has with the party," he said.
"My three opponents are honourable men but they were members of PAP for 20 to 30 years until they resigned from the party with two of them having quit only very recently," he added.
"During this period, they ate, slept, walked and breathed PAP. Do you now expect them to have a breath of fresh air? Mentally and emotionally, it will be very difficult for them to think differently from the ruling party and challenge their former colleagues and friends."
He went on to reassure voters that he can provide checks and balances on the government without restraint.
"Unlike them, I do not have the same emotional baggage that they carry because I have never been a member of the PAP."

Dr Tony Tan shared with Singaporeans his background and how he experienced Singapore's independence after the Japanese occupation.
The former deputy prime minister stressed the need to focus on the true responsibilities of Singapore's President.
"Some people argue that the President must take a public stand on current issues. I hear and share the concerns of Singaporeans," he said, and added, "But policies are debated in Parliament and implemented by the government."
"Others have said that the President must oppose the government. That is a job for the opposition. People interested in such roles should run for Parliament in the next General Election."
The 71-year-old also asked Singaporeans to consider the two most important roles of the President.
"The first role of the President is to be the Head of State. At home, the President stands for all Singaporeans. He has to be independent and above politics.
"He must be fair, knowledgeable and balanced, especially when called on to resolve disputes between different organs of the state," he continued.
"Abroad, the President is Singapore's face to the world. He has to carry our flag with confidence and dignity. He must have the stature to stand with world leaders and represent our country."
"The second important role of the president is to protect our nation's financial reserves -- which is our country's savings. This responsibility is what makes our Presidency special and is why we are having an election."
He went on to urge voters to put their trust in his years of experience and assured Singaporeans that he will represent the nation with confidence, dignity and a steady hand to protect the reserves.

Tan Kin Lian reiterated his promise to do his best as President if elected.
The former NTUC Income chief promised to be Singaporeans' voice to convey their concerns and aspirations to the government.
"As I have never been a minister or Member of Parliament, I will be able to think outside the box and take a different perspective from the government on the issues that are faced by Singaporeans," he said.
"I will act independently of the government in carrying out the duties of the President, especially as a check and balance to prevent abuse of power and corruption," he added.
In carrying out the duties of the President, the 63-year-old shared that he will be guided by his personal values of honesty, fairness, positive attitude, courage and public service.
"I will also continue to seek the views of the people your views on the issues that are important to you," he said.
"To help me keep in touch with the people, I will form a President's Personal Council comprising of people from many segments of our society. They will help me to identify the important issues that affect many Singaporeans."
"I will adopt a constructive and cooperative approach in working with the government to understand these issues and help to find the appropriate solutions. This will include the inputs and views of the civil servants and the ministers," he added.
The four candidates will have one more television broadcast on the eve of Polling Day, which is also the Cooling-off Day.

I personally feel that they are 4 awesome men that love and have plans for singapore. However, I always believe in my point of view that being a president is not easy. He/She must have these main criterias that are:
- Being diligent and confident in standing up for the nation.
- Hear the needs of the singaporeans and do something about it.
- Most importantly, be WISE enough to resolve disputes among countries. (So there will be no war/riots)

Early this morning...I was woken up by Mr silly Boyfriend telling me this...........................

I'm like Whao... Morning hulk. LOL! He actually broke the door knob and was stuck in the room but thank God he managed to get out with his dad's help for work on time :) I was thinking, how this skinny monkey got the strength from? Got so strong a not? LOL (**o)

After that, in the afternoon, I went to sign my first full time job :) Will update on it soon... you can visit http://lovemishop.com/ to roughly know what I will be doing :)

Had quite an exciting night tonight as I met up with Mr Boyfriend's mummy :) Went to have dinner together at "Sushi Tei". So $$$$$$!! Really pai sae but really thank aunty for the meal :) Here comes the drooling pics~ took a few of it only :x They are the food I ate :p (wouldn't be too nice to take photos of the food in front of Mr Boyfriend's mummy for the first meeting)

Went to walk around after dinner...and we saw some nice visual arts along the esplanade walk way again~

You can go take a look at them. It's theme, I guess was to promote assisting the older people in our community. However, the old people puppets were painted a little creepy.

We also went to visit this SUPER DUPER ADORABLE ANIMAL~ Well, let me introduced it first...
It was spotted one day together with my gfs while we were walking. It was so easily noticed as it was HAIRLESS! And from that day onwards, I kept thinking about it, whether its hair has grown and how FAT it was... Tahdah~ The Fatty Hairless SkinnyPig! So Adorable^^^

So Fat and Cute Right!!!?? You can spot it at the pet shop along citylink to esplanade walk way :) You cannot believe how much it is. $$$

My Never Fail 2 Be There Friends

Met up with Mr Bao on 5/6/11 for catch up session~ Mr Bao came back from Aussie with so many interesting and exciting experiences that he has shared with me... Driving through the valley of darkness, looking at farms and how the farm animals were actually not that tamed, walking through pitch dark alley and many many more. It was really AN EXPERIENCE! I wouldn't be able to do those things calmly, probably would be freaking out!

We also went to try some new restaurant that we have not tried before...here's the first station~

And my Ramen~

Their menu only has a few dishes by the way. However, if you'll like a plain tasty ramen, this is the restaurant that you should be in! Their Ramen is rather affordable, around $10 plus. This ramen has a rather plain taste, not really my cup of tea :( but no harm trying thought :)

Just went there to try their dessert and it's SUPERB! NAISE~ tah dah! My dessert ^^

Some thoughts:

- A three way relationship is important :) when you get blessings from the angles and the one above :)

- It is important to start right in a relationship telling yourself that this is the person that I want to spend my whole life with :)

Kung Fu Panda 2

Met up with Ah Ping to watch Kung Fu Panda 2 after work :)

The show was really awesome as the story line was touching and the panda is FAT!! FAT FAT FAT! Me Like! ^^ hahaha... it was hilarious and I was caught by the phrase that was repeated in the movie - "You may not be fortunate when you were born or last time, but what matter now are the choices you make that makes you a person" **INNER PEACE!** DING!

We went to eat at Hot Tomato before that. They changed their menu already as I could not find my burger meal anymore :( However, they still served pretty nice food here...

After the movie, we went to 满记甜品 @ Somerset 313. The desserts were really toothsome! You gotta try their durian desserts!!! YUMMY!

Recovering Process

Ah Bee has officially stucked at home for 9 days. It's really a painful recovering process as you see how the blisters get worse as you recover and how you have to take big tablet every 3 hours, 5 times a day...

You learnt through Trials

Woke up early in the morning to get ready to do some clean up for the house! =)

Pack my drawers and TAH DAH! Used this time to wash all my shoes! hahaha...

Sometimes when you are going through trials and ordeals, you realised God is trying to let you learn something from it... through this shingles illness, I've experience how much my family actually love and care for me :) as well as my lovely friends. You can also experience how people react to your illness, either harsh, comforting or sympathetic.

My adaptor died at night and I was really upset and annoyed by it as I could not get out of the house, the com was my main entertainment through this 2 weeks staying home period. I grumbled to my daddy and to my surprised, he actually volunteered to go get one new adaptor for me to use =D
My dad always don't express much however through this, I indeed can feel his love for his daughter :) Thank God for him that my com is working again!

While waiting for the adaptor, I couldn't do much hence I started to sing praises~ and was indeed touched by this song - DIVINE EXCHANGE by hillsongs

Ah Bee has gotten shingles herpes zoster for the past few days and really thank God for many lovely friends who cared for me, wished for my recovery and even wanted to take the risk to visit me :) MANY THANKS!♥

Well, so what exactly are shingles (herpes zoster)?

Shingles (herpes zoster) is a viral infection of the nerve roots. It causes pain and often causes a rash on one side of the body, the left or right. The rash appears in a band, a strip, or a small area. Shingles is most common in older adults and people who have weak immune systems because of stress, injury, certain medicines, or other reasons. Most people who get shingles will get better and will not get it again.

This was what happened....

My virus time bomb erupted! And didn't know that I am that "old" to get... haha! However, guess it's good as well so I don't have to get it again when I'm in my 60s?

What are the symptoms?

Shingles symptoms happen in stages. At first you may have a headache or be sensitive to light. You may also feel like you have the flu but not have a fever.
Later, you may feel itching, tingling, or pain in a certain area. That’s where a band, strip, or small area of rash may occur a few days later. The rash turns into clusters of blisters. The blisters fill with fluid and then crust over. It takes 2 to 4 weeks for the blisters to heal, and they may leave scars.(OMG!) Some people only get a mild rash, and some do not get a rash at all. The areas that are typically affected include the head, abdomen, neck, face and arm or leg. In rare cases areas of the face like the nose and eyes may also be affected. (I suay kana face...-.-)
It’s possible that you could also feel dizzy or weak, or you could have long-term pain or a rash on your face, changes in your vision, changes in how well you can think, or a rash that spreads. If you have any of these problems from shingles, call your doctor right away.

Is it contagious?

Yes, you can catch chickenpox from someone with shingles if you have not had chickenpox before. (You cannot get shingles itself from someone who has shingles.)

The shingles rash is contagious until all the blisters have scabbed and are dry. But note: most adults and older children have already had chickenpox, and so are immune. Also, if the blisters (vesicles) are covered with a dressing, it is unlikely that the virus will pass on to others. This is because the virus is passed on by direct contact with the blisters.

How can shingles be treated?

There is no cure for shingles, but treatment may help you get well sooner and prevent other problems. Call your doctor as soon as you think you may have shingles. The sooner you start treatment, the better it works.

Blessed by the Children

GKIDZ tonight again and I was indeed blessed by my kids :) 2 of my kids wanted to come again so brought them over and really thank God that their parents did not object about going to church. Of course I told them that respecting parents should be first as it was also stated in the bible.

I was really blessed by them as I lend them my bibles today and they started to read even though there were quite a number of difficult words. I was surprised that they were actually really interested to know more about it rather than just coming GKIDz to have fun. Even when I was buying KFC for them as we were released earlier tonight, they sat down and read the bible. I wasn't as enthusiastic as them when I was a child back then. They even requested me to get them their own bible. hahaha... I really see how God touches the lives of people EVEN KIDS.

Really thank God for the children :)
What Jesus wants to remind me is really having - CHILDLIKE FAITH

Easter Day Celebration for Children

Brought my tuition kids to children's easter party celebration tonight. Really thank God for good weather and protection as well as parents whom trusted me enough to place their children in my hands to take public transport to the party location. It was really an awesome experience for me as well as I hold on to 4 children (where I'm like mother bee..LOL!) of different ages to take bus to FCBC. Although the bus was crowded, thank God that I managed to take care of them throughout the whole travelling.

The kids enjoyed themselves as they learnt about what Easter Day is all about and 3 of them gave their life to Jesus. All of them felt something in their heart which is unexplainable which was how I felt 13 years ago when I received Christ in primary 3. Praise God!

They have truely enjoyed themselves and are waiting for the 2nd part of Easter celebration next week! :)

It was 清明节 for my family on 17-4-11 as we met up to go 扫墓 at 咖啡山 early in the morning. My sister and I got ourselves ready......jeans, socks and covered shoes that were to be thrown away as we would be walking on muds.

Uncle fetched us to the location and we started to take out the stuffs for burning. My cousins were really amusing as they bought along paper mercedes car, i-pad, pool table for our ah gong. The way they described how our ah gong can use the i-pad was boffo!

During the burning session, my mum, bro and sis would always try not to burn the incense hence we searched for long branches to help out with the burning and prayed after that. This year's 扫墓 was much more comfortable as we have different types of insect repellents (provided by my lovely aunt) and my uncle actually brought a fan which consist of a radio function. It was super entertaining as we actually on the radio while burning the stuffs and tidying up my ah gong's tomb.

After that, we went to have a good meal together :)

Being Alone

Went out alone on 13-4-2011 to buy some things. The feeling of walking around alone is not that awesome. Many may feel that being alone is ok, it's rather true to a certain extend as I did feel that shopping alone gives me the pleasure of getting straight to the point of what I need to get without asking others for opinion. However, I'm a chatty person and it felt kinda odd not having someone there for me to speak to...

Well... Here I'm ready to venture malls alone~

Went to find out where was my new work place located and guess what I saw... a christian fair right at the atrium of my work place :p God's given job?

After which went to marine parade and IKEA to get stuffs... heavy + bulky + a little cramp = (T_T)

Enjoying sitting alone in the bus... heh heh heh...

hmm... I do look a little upset? LOL!

After Marine Parade, the next stop was IKEA! I love to shop at IKEA as it gives you this peaceful feeling :)
And... got a little surprise from a busy banana who skipped a little while from examination studies to come and find me to help out carrying the things. I appreciate it :) Thanks!

The Old has Gone, The New has Come

Hello friends! It's been a while.... hahahaha... :)

Today's devotion Deuteronomy 16:13-22 has somehow renewed my mind telling me to "let God and not to worry". To have peace. Not some random peace, not peace in self, not peace in the world, no peace in anything else but only peace in Him and His word.

Have been waiting for open doors of the future and the greatest torture of this part is "waiting". However, God gave me a word in Jeremiah 29:11 ( For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.)

After which, I heard Psalm 111 and 129 where God convicted me in Psalm 111:5 that he will always remember his covenant and all I have to do is trust. Psalm 129:4 that he will grant the desire of my heart :) Praise Him!

Can't wait for the transition (^-^)

Team Building Gkidz

This was my FIRST time getting out onto the sea~~ (sadly, no pictures to show) :(

It was Gkidz team building today and our activity was to build a raft to paddle all of us out into the middle of the sea to put our wishes for the children for our individual clubs.
I really had a good time handling the planks, floats etc.. It was really amazing how our raft turns out.

Now to the paddling part... it's SUPER TEDIOUS!! (I think I got muscles liao -.-) However, it's super fun!!! And Now I fully understands how tedious it is to dragon boat! (*_*)

After that, we just went straight for Gkidz service after our dinner. Taught the kids that the Holy Spirit is our friends and we can tell him secrets etc.. John 14:25-26

I thank God for such a fulfilling day, for the good weather, the good children. Lord I pray that the children will grow closer to you each day and to shine like stars for you in their schools! In Jesus Name, Amen.

WARRIORBEE IS BACK! HAHAHAHA!!! It's been a long time of laziness but gotta say NO to it!
hahahhaa......

A new story on 16-11-2011~
Finally managed to meet up with my lovely SP = hot skin :p
We went to "Let's Sweet" lunch buffet located in bugis juntion. Have always been wanting to try it BUT........... BUT................ a little disappointed with it :x
Had short lunch with cxj b4 meeting the ladies~ and look at what I'm having wahahaha!

EGGS AND THE OMG FLOODED TOAST!! LOL!!! Peanut Butter with condense milk woohoo~ flooded toast!

OK now...Let me show you the yummies in "Let's Sweet" first~

It's pretty nice with the added berries jam. It comes with 2 other flavors, banana choco and argh I forgot (-.-)
However, the ice-cream scoop was pretty small :( I personally give it a 6/10.

The pizzas were All-Right. Oh, they mainly only have pizzas and one type of spaghetti. The salmon flavor pizza was pretty good, however the pizzas were left there in the open and they turn cold and stiffed hence not really that tasty anymore :(
Which left me to eat until like this..........................left crusts :p
Give it a 7/10 personally.

Looks nice? Not that toothsome, but the girls like the jellies (the green thing in the picture).

Looks nice as well? hahahaa.... cakes are too hard and not that flavoursome. The green thing was the greentea paste which tasted a little bitter. I like the mochi red thing on top but it's not included in the buffet. You gotta pay $3 for each tiny ball (-.-) A 7/10 for desserts.

It's chinese new year eve today and had a great day at work as we rush things out, had a great lunch and ended with prizes lucky draw!

I wanted to pick the 'XO' wine!! But I got a pack of Camel's brand peanuts!! (T_T) LOL!

Really enjoyed it still...

I also wana thank God for tonight's reunion dinner as a family. Although my parents are still not speaking to each other, but it was already great to just have dinner and give thanks to God together. I prayed for today's reunion dinner in CHINESE! HAHA! and it's cui... but still praise God for this dinner.

Lord I pray that you will let my family see your love, mercy and grace and I pray that you will reunite my parents in your name.

Went for SOL2 training early in the morning with eliz. Really felt afresh with the Holy Spirit and we continued to learn about intercession which we had started last night.

I truely believe that intercession can save lives and change God's decision.

Celebrated papa's bday last night! Went to eat at RAJAHINN and realised that the food + settings are exactly like HOTPOT CULTURE~ the only difference was that we don't have to go self service on the food but we can just take our order and the food will just keep coming! :) We enjoyed the food~!

PRAISE GOD!! PRAISE GOD!!

Have been praying and God is really good to me ^^ Really Praise God for a good tester as I got the best (sure pass) tester for test! He picked me YAY! Praise God for a good weather as it was supposed to rain/cloudy/drizzle but when I drive, NO RAIN! YAY!! Praise God for good conditions on the road. I was really bad at this right turn flashing arrow + green light traffic as it always makes me confused on when to and not to turn. BUT, when I reached there, the light just turned RED immediately which I don't even have to think whether I have to turn a not, just wait for the green light and I can turn! WEEEEE!!!

With so many blessed conditions I scored an 8 points for driving! I was like OMG!

Really thank you all sweeties for wishing me and praying for me! Special thanks to my One and Only Dil Dil (for all your supports and prayers :)), Bud (thanks for always giving me tips on driving and celebrating my FTT passing and never fails to pray for me :)), Smelly (really thanks for all the prayers and being there for me today to feel anxious together with me, thanks!), CIMB ladies (thanks for the confidence, tips and encouragement u ladies give me :))...and..................
MY BELOVED 老师~for being so rubbish, always quarrel and rubbish with me. THANKS JIMMY TAY! (although you sure never read my blog cos your english 'cui' but I still wana promote his name la..) LOL!

My Gift from Smelly~ thanks man my friend!

I also realised something...even though I know how to drive and all, it's really not easy to drive without my 老师 with me. It just felt that there's no guide anymore and you have to rely on yourself.

Tried to drive today and nearly got into an accident due to this sudden car on the right which tried to come into my lane when there wasn't really much space left and I nearly knocked into another car on my left while trying to avoid it and this annoying uncle on the left, knew that I am a P-plater, still drove in front of me, jam break and alighted his car to scold me using his actions. So impatient~ but luckily he didn't come to the car and anyhow... LOL! Quite scary...

Bee Driver

Well..... It doesn't matter :) I'm extremely elated as I have gotten this driving licence!! Really thank God with such hard work I had, earning cash to feed the driving lessons and trying my best to learn really finally paid off! I have seen the labour of my hard work!! Felt more independent ^^

Next to feed on will be schooling I guess... Jia You Warrior Bee!!! =D

Memories

Finally made the effort to tidy up my messy table and found some memories~

There were my primary school doings like my recordings of all my friends' house addresses and telephone numbers. There were also letters from old friends that stroke some of the memories I had during the secondary school days.... There were touching ones as well as heartache ones, but I thank God as I see how much I have let things go as well as making me to recollect the little loves I have from my friends.

Also thank God that I'm gradually recovering from illness and really thank my friends for the concerns... ThAnk YouS!! :)
Left 6 days to my driving test....hopefully can pass if not all my hard earn $ Gone! Gotta PRAY!!!!
Sometimes it's just not so easy when you gotta feed yourself :) Cheers to all the independence out there!!

Really thank God for giving me this rest today as I was really sick. Caught a slight fever and look at my eyes when i woke up....

Went to see a doctor and slumbered like a bear till night time. It's quite true that body indeed has a limitation of my busy work schedule but May the Lord gives me strength!

It's Time To work!

Mondayyyyyyyy~ has arrived and sometimes you just wish that you are a primary school kid who is still having fun and waiting for tomorrow to start school...

Started work today! A brand new year of work in CIMB bank and I'm feeling kinda spiritless...feel like changing to another new environment once again (><) - 72 变 LOL!

Tuition starts today as well and I really thank God for the kids although now it has changed to private tuition which is easier for me to manage. They really can lift my mood up! :)

Really looking forward to what God has planned for me and I am still in search of it! Really hope to get an answer this year as the embracement of changes has arrived...

Really thank God that I managed to reached expo for Gkidz today as the alarm went bizarred~ Heard from smelly that all the iphones in the world had problems for the past few days. Hopefully it will be resolved....

Really had another great observation week at Gkidz as I was attached to a P6 group. Love the kids as I see childlike faith in them :)

After church, went to visit BABY NATHAN! Who was born today 2/1/2011! He was super duper adorable! Here are the photos!

It was also really exciting as we embrace 2011 - A year of Empowerment of the Holy Spirit! I am so looking forward to the days ahead...

So many things...So little time

Woke up at 7am today and IT IS SATURDAY! ARGH!

Had to attend a company's talk today and it was really tiring... WarriorBee really wasn't that warrior this week as I have to wake up 7am earliest every morning! Tmr as well!! (=_=)

Although it was tedious to wake up soooo early on a saturday morning, the talk was good. The talk was about structuring manufacture work. It's some what interesting as you see how business work out and how they are improved. I learnt much wisdom from the managers and CIMB top bosses. Guess I'm becoming more structured base as I work in the bank field. LOL!

After the talk, went out with my colleagues for a walk and it was pretty awesome :)
Went for driving lesson after the walk...can't even remember how many lessons I've went (-.-)

Was really busy with so many stuffs on hands. Although most of them were cleared, there were still some more coming~~

First of all... today's sermon...

CHRIST IS ALL

Colossians 3

- Human relationship is the most difficult thing to maintain.
- That's the devil's plot where they will destroy relationships between family, friends, colleagues etc by making you alienated, being alone, living in your own world.
- By these, will break UNITY!

- We were to live in a community but the devil wana break us up. (Colossians 3:15)
- However, when Jesus is Lord, we will have PEACE!

3 things that we must do that we can recognize the LORDSHIP in us:

(1) DO RIGHT!
- Colossians 3:15-17
- The love of God will stir us to DO RIGHT! It's about actions~
- It is difficult to DO RIGHT so before doing that, you need to (2).

(2) DRESS WELL!
- Colossians 3:10-14
- You have to dress yourself well everyday!
- You have to ask God to dress you well e.g. (Lord, bless me with love, with humility etc...)
- However, before you can dress well, you need to know what kinda dress right? So...(3).

(3) DISCERN YOUR IDENTITY!
- Know who you are in the Lord.
- Colossians 3:12
- God loves you!
- You are CHOSEN. You are HOLY. God DELIGHTS in you.

Responsibilities

OUUCCHH! My arms are hurting~ :) hahaha!!! Went to play WII at DNAXIU's house today with eliz :) ARGHHH RAVING WABBITS! All the fatties fatties ^^^ It's so fun and now my arms ache (x,x) Really thank God for this lovely couples :) Here are some of the snap shots of the fatty wabbits...

After playing, they showed us to their baby room =) AHHH so adorable! ^^ Can't wait for nathan to come out to call jiejie bee ^^ Such lovely family scenario I have seen in my leaders :) which made me thought of this word - Responsibility.

As we grow up, we tend to have more and more responsibilities on our shoulder... like paying your own handphone bills/school fees, decisions to make for studies/works, family/friends relationship etc... It may be tiring but in the end you see the results of your labour =) Just like during pregnancy, it's difficult and tiring, while giving birth it's worse as the pain overwhelmes however when you saw your own flesh, you'll be filled with joy!

It warms the heart to see such lovely godly couples in their simple home preparing for the arrival of Nathan :) I will also wana have that when it's my turn :)

D-lesson at night

Warrior bee is back! However, she may be M.I.A for quite sometime as many things are on her plate. Many things are going on as well for her to settle~

Had my D-lesson at night and it was my first time driving at night and I can see!! =D Praise God!
The feeling was indeed different when driving at night as it was way cooler :) However, circuit was a headache as I couldn't really see clearly and had mild kerb many times. Tonight's driving was good as my instructor and me were talking rubbish all the way once again and we were laughing out loud in the car. It was pretty awesome. The test date is 28/12/2010. Should I take it? Although he told me that I am ready, but I'm not confident for circuit driving. Well... Shall pray! =)

Tiring

This week is a torture for me as I have to juggle work + tuition classes (planning for next year classes) + driving + friend's bday parties + assignments and lessons + church etc. It's really a tough training for me to learn how to organize my time well. Got a lecture from a friend last night and thank you for that as it somehow woke me up! It can be tiring at times but I thank God that I am really born to be like a superwoman = to PIA! LOL! [ though I needed some comfort at that moment and I got it from my jiejie..thanks jie :) ]

Yes!! Warrior Bee needs to buck up man!! How can I let my tiredness and the assignments to bring me down..nono! LOL!

First day in the Rat Race

Hello people! Warrior Bee has changed her job to >>>>>>> THIS! LOL!

It's actually just a 3 months contract base job :) I'm working as a credit admin under HR retail. Time pass quite fast there as there are really a lot of work to do and really must thank God for blessing me with colleagues that can clique and most lovely thing...it is a women working area :)) LOL! Majorities are women :)

Something amazing on the first day of work... I WAS LATE! LOL! AND THEN...I still have to wait for nearly 1 hour before I moved to a table to do some work. (That's not even my permanent table) LOL! Well, although didn't have a good start, lunch was good :) First time you experience a whole lot of working people rushing here and there for lunch...'this' is really not a place I will want to stay long =S

Before work, everyone rushing into trains and buses, you squeeze yourself like sardine in the train...After work, you also see the same scenario... everyone rushing here and there...rush rush rush like rats running around hahahaha... OH MAN! (-.-)

All in all, really thank God for this position :)

- More important, the factor of having violated God's rules for moral behavior will in turn causes a break in our fellowship with the Father.

- Measure yourself. Going beyond kissing (stage 7) will damage your spiritual lives and your moral characters.

- However, viginity is not renewable but you can choose to regain your celibacy and determine to live a Godly and moral life.

The message is Love

God has provided instructions for successful living, even though people have rarely understood the "whys" behind His rules. God's rules have been disobeyed by rebellious human beings who usually seem surprised at the adverse consequences of their behaviours.

In the books of Law, God gave the Israelites strict instructions as to what they could and couldn't eat. Often these rules seem unreasonably restrictive, yet scientists have determined that those laws were nutritionally sound for a tribe of people living in the desert with no refrigeration and unsophisticated sanitary practices. The laws were given so that the Israelites would enjoy good health and live long. The same principle was behind God's instruction for coping with diseased persons who might infect others.

Time after time God instructed His people to obey Him, despite their natural instincts. Success always followed obedience (wall of Jericho and Gideon's victory). Disobedience brought defeat (battle of Ai and captivity of Israel). God had their stories written for us in order that we might learn from their mistakes - to obey Him.

Love is the Key Word

God didn't sit up in heaven and decide to make life difficult for us by forbidding us to do certain things. He didn't set up an obstacle course we have to run in order to prove our love for Him. Each law God gives is designed to assist us in reaching our highest potential and in living the abundant life.
When people fail to follow God's standard, they experience the consequences: impaired functioning, broken r/s etc...
In the same way that it hurts parents when their children make the wrong choices, it hurts God when we make wrong choices.

For the past few decades, people have become more and more open about indulging their sexual desires, like casual sex is quite the common thing. The world has adopted and accept this new "Freedoms"~

Last Day in MOE

Today was my last day in MOE (staff training branch)^^ Although I'm excited on leaving the place and job, I'm upset too as I have to bid farewell to the best sup I ever had :( She's really like a 2nd mother to me and I really appreciate how much she cares for me since the day in sec4 when I step into MOE. Had a really great farewell lunch with the 2 lovely colleagues (one of it is Mrs Tan!) We went to a club...can't really remember what club was that but it's really for posh people. LOL! I did enjoy the lunch very much ^^ ATAS!

God said he loves me today

Went for my 20th D-lesson~ it's time!!! Went into private circuit today (it's the 4th time)... Did all parkings and crank courses! I thank God for it as my instructor didn't taught me much which shows that I drove correctly. Just that he started to sing while I'm like parking ? (-.-) Test date in late December...pray for me people!! x)

After that, went to wax my legs muhahaha!!! nice! Shall do it again soon :)

After waxing, met up with my dear Eliz for worship practice :) It's really great! (couldn't edit the video hence can't upload here :(

Here was the part where God spoke to me. Hasn't been feeling well these few days, physically and emotionally but as I was worshipping God giving praise to him, I felt peace in my heart. God told me this, "My dear daughter, I love you. You may not know why you're going through all these but you will soon know because I'm with you. I love hearing your voice everytime you sing to me. It hurts my heart everytime I see you cry. It may be tough but remember the final reward. I love you my dear daughter." hahaha... nearly teared while typing this..

Had a bad day at animation class today as I was confused with the files I've saved and in the end I had to redo the whole animation!!! (T_T) Oh God help me..................

I really like moving characters, however I guess I really need to brush up on my skills~ will show what I did in class soon ~ Hopefully~ (><)

After lesson, went to meet up with ACRE team for jamming :) It was really fun enjoying and playing music for God! I also wana thank God for Cher to be there if not I would be feeling rather odd. Thanks CHER!

I really saw pros and talents in ACRE! Really pray and hope that we can achieve and claim what God has given to us! :) I am SOOOO WANTING TO LEARN FROM THEM!!! ^^

18th D-lesson

A short post on my d-lesson once again and today, I learnt 'S-course' and 'Parallel Parking'. 2 words - SUPER HARD (T_T) probably cos this was the first time and all I can say is you really have to gauge and aga the feeling of the car. ARGH!

My instructor just kept whacking my head today (-.-) Cos I'm suppose to look at the back wheel while doing parallel parking (I didn't look properly) plus I blur and steer the steering wheel too much. He is violent! LOL! Kept whacking my head although not that hard... but I'm not very happy about him touching my head.

Hopefully I can do it better the next time! JIA YOU for those learning driving!!! =D

Has been reading "Too Close Too Soon" book and here are another few things I've learnt :) Will like to share with you all...

Situation of different characters

We are all unique and made differently by God!

Ray is a businessman who has worked hard all his life. He never has time to think about other people's feeling. There's only one way to live for him that is "you see a job that needs doing and you do it." He may find himself dateless because no one is going to be 100% like him!

People tend to have their Mr/Mrs perfect but to be frank no one is.

Conflicts often are the results of one partner's forgetting that there can be several different responses to a situation. Don't always think that your approach is the right one because there are several correct responses but just different approach :)

Working at it

The book has many ways of working at knowing your partner more which are activites, sharing the word of God, community involvement etc...

Fairy Tales or Reality?

I love this section the most because I'm partly some what likes to have a fairy tale of my own (-.-)

A story was told that a couple, Eric and Beth are getting married and they voiced their concerns...

Eric:
- Will she get irritated when we both have a bad day on the same day and I don't seem to be very considerate because I'm too wrapped up in my own problems?

- Will I recognize during frustration times, when singleness seems like something I should have clung to, that my frustration is clouding my perception?

- Will I remember that a fight, however ugly, doesn't mean that our love has died, but rather that we both have some growing up to do?

- Will we continue to give each other the freedom and encouragement to grow as we do now?

Beth:
- Will he really understand when all of my deadlines come due at once and I'm not coping very well? Will he accept that something has to give temporarily and that might be spending time with him?

- Will I accept his taking a walk to cool off after a fight without feeling rejected?

- Will I after years of developing the ability to be independent and to solve my own problems be able to consider Eric's needs, ideas and suggestions as important as my own?

- Will he understands that my independence is a habit and not a deliberate affront to him?

- Will we continue to keep God at the center of our r/s or will we go off on our own and fail?

Don't we have these thoughts as well?? :)

This leads to our expectations...

Expecting a partner to live up to an unrealistic ideal when we ourselves are still imperfect is the height of injustice!

Unrealistic Expectations

Having unrealistic expectations is not the problem but refusing to relinquish them is! DON'T CLING ON TO A FANTASY~!

Identify Unrealistic Expectations

Brad wanted Carla to be thoughtful when his tired and understanding when I have to work late. He told Carla serveral times to be thoughtful but he has never defined his expectations to Carla in terms of specific actions.

Carla will try to understand by preparing a late supper for him, offering lots of sympathy and attention, while asking dozens of questions about the events of the day.

Brad feels hassled. He would prefer Carla to cancel their date and allow him to go home to bed without any long conversations but he didn't specify it to her.

Perhaps you too, have been guilty of acting as if you and your partner are mind readers. DON'T! Most people who are serious about a r/s are willing to keep their expectations within realistic bounds.

Realistic expectations can be discussed and possibly met. If the unmet expectation is realistic within the framework of the r/s, then you can share your feelings with your partner and work through the issues to an acceptable resolution.

Unrealistic expectations can be discarded. Be realistic, no one can 24/7 be there for you unless that person is God! =)

Dare to be Honest!

When you become honest and open, a tremendous surge of freedom! Gone are the fears of inadvertently offending your partner :) Mutual trust and confidence grow because you each know where you stand with the other.

When different expectations arise, neither person is willing to yield or change in any way, it just shows that they truly cannot accept their partners or negotiate their differences. The only way is to withdraw from intimacy to friendship level, for to continue on together is only to hurt one another eventually.

Letting go of a relationship, even an unsatisfactory one can be very scary because we fear:

(1) We will forever be alone and lonely

(2) We will later regret our decision to end the r/s

(3) We will never find another partner

Although it may be painful to be open and honest, it is more painful in the long run not to be!

Being honest prevents the buildup of resentment and bitterness...

Why break it when you can learn to handle it :)

Went to Science Centre for recee with bud on Saturday 25/9/2010 for Children's Day planning. XY was supposed to come but she has something urgent. Really thank God that bud has this corporate card for us to enter in for free.

It's really amazing how you see God moves among my friends. How I see they have brighten up through their facebook comments. I have been constantly praying for them and XY shared with me that on the last session which I prayed for her econ results, a miracle happened. She got a good mark that she didn't expect herself to get. THANK GOD! He is real moving among us reaveling bit by bit of his presence and evidence :) You just have to take up the faith to believe with all your heart :)

Tiring~

Got up early morning to prepare for my 15th D-lesson. Finally, I have learnt something new in driving today - REVERSING PARKING!
It's really tiring for the legs as you control the clutch and accelerator and turning the steering wheel. I feel like I'm going to spoil the whole steering wheel as I turn it very hardly. (roughness in me -.-)

Today's driving was pretty good as my instructor and me didn't bicker today... hahaha! I blessed him with 'merci' chocolates as his birthday gift :) Just wana bless him and probably this made his day a little more happier so minus off all his grumblings...heh

After driving, went back to work. Shall not explain further but one word - TIRED

AFter that met up with baody to go get some stuffs and dinner. It's really good catching up session :)

Children's Day planning...SA2 coming...course...mission...40days of faith...many many 21st bday celebration...job finding...performances...driving...work...furture...etc

God please give me strength and wisdom to jaga so many things coming at the end of the year...

Have been so tied up trying to find jobs while juggling with work, tuition, courses, driving, 40days of faith etc... woohooooo!!! A little wordy... :x

Really praise God I still am pro enough to dig up some time for my family, my friends and most of all, myself :) Praise God.

This post is to give thanks to my God!

He really answered 3 of my prayer for a friend consecutively which I was quite stunned.
(a) Prevented a bicycle from getting stolen
(b) Fix a bicycle which is not suppose to be fixed? Healed a bike.
(c) A parcel sent on the day which I want it to be sent.

He blessed me with eating freedom.... Keep eating eating but pray that the food will not make me fat, I think I got fatter but blessed am I to have my lovelies to work out with me :) [thanks to you lovelies...u know who u are :) ]

Have been reading this book "TOO CLOSE TOO SOON" by Dr Jim a. Talley & Dr Robbie Reed recently as well and learnt quite a number of things that I wish to share :)

(1) Purity

Purity is a principle repeatedly emphasized in scripture by God - 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8

Be glad if you still have your purity...

God says that sexual immorality is sin. Therefore, choosing to disobey God's rules on secual purity disrupts a person's relationship with God and stunts spiritual growth.

Virginity is not renewable; celibacy is. Even if you have lost your virginity, at least regain your celibacy and determine to live a Godly and moral life.

5 advantages to not being sexually active before marriage:

(a) There will be no guilt over having disobeyed God's laws.

(b) There will be no fears of conceiving a child and having to decide what to do next

(c) There will not be any comparing of one's spouse's sexual performance with that of past lovers

(d) The self-control learned by waiting for marriage will be transferable to any periods of absence from one's spouse.

(e) The sexual satisfaction shared with only each other brings excitement to the marriage

Sexual intimacy comes complete vulnerability.

Every relationship that we allow that to happen takes a piece of our soul and distorts more of our character.

Do not stumble others.

(2) Time spent together

Limiting time spent together with your spouse can save both of your batteries!

It's also important as we still need time alone, time wiht friends and families, time with God, time of daily living. Neglecting any of these and interactions can cause us a lot of pain later on!

(3) Self-control just for him/her

Recognizing and accepting the fact that physical and emotional intimacies tend to have different priorities for the guy and girl and it is the first step in resolving the problems those differences may cause.

Practicing mutual patience.

The girl must restrain her own emotions until her partner is ready to become emotionally committed to the relationship.

A guy must refrain from physical intimacy until the girl's need for emotional involvement with and from him can be met.

Neither partner should force the other partner. Decision of commitment is personal.

(4) Togetherness is not enough!

2 people who meet and feel attracted to each other cannot assume that just following their natural desires to be together is sufficient to propel the friendship toward a genuinely intimate relationship.

In the early stages of r/s, being together feels so good & is so satisfying that couples don't always feel a need to work or building a foundation for a lasting r/s. But if a r/s is based purely on feelings, just being together will soon lose its magic. Either an increase in physical intimacy will occur in attempt to recapture the good feelings or the r/s will be broken off.

The alternative is to build a strong foundation which is a foundation of a strong friendship by getting to know and appreciate one another, sharing each other's lives before getting into a couple stage.

(5) Be Active

Just being together does not contribute to the emotional depth of a r/s. Depth comes from doing things together like sports, projects or other activities which learn a lot about each other's levels of frustration, enjoyment, learning ability and energy patterns. As everyone is unique.

As couples share together in activities and projects, they grow closer together and their r/s is deepened.

When a couple said they are very 'gum' and has never had any conflicts b4, it is more likely they have not developed a problem-solving system.

People are individuals, not carbon copies of one another. "If 2 people agree on everything, one of them isn't necessary." Therefore, no matter how similar a couple's tastes, ideas or opinions, there will sure be areas of conflict. Learning to resolve them without destroying the r/s is a skill. An important skill. (The book stated the skill :))

Relationship takes a lot of hard work!

(6) Alone but not Lonely!

Time alone is important! For self-indulgent and just-for-me activites. You have to enjoy and accept yourself before being able to interact openly to you're partner :)

In fact, those who cannot tolerate being alone at all need to take a look at why they don't enjoy their own company :)

13th D-Lesson

Was late for my D-lesson today so didn't get to learn parking but will be learning it in the next lesson :)

Today another time of rubbishing in the car. However, it was amazing today as my instructor didn't reprimand or say me. We just talk and chat in the car while driving. Praise God that my U-Turn has finally turned successfully, got the hang of it! Yeahness!! Today, my instructor and I chatted about oversea trips and work and blahblahblah everything under the sun...he even sang in the car. (#_#) omgosh...hence today was not a bad lesson after all. He was also shocked when I told him that I'm single and he assumed that I'm lying (-.-) Well, do I have this face that I'm attached? I realised many thought I was (-.-) actually...I'm attached to God! Yeah!

Something funny happened after the lesson.

The whole story began last saturday where I was supposed to go for D-lesson but due to my illness, I rested at home and had to cancel the lesson and my instructor actually demanded me to pay him the fee even though I didn't go for the lesson as I have already booked the slot. We chatted on the phone and he sounded serious, hence I gave in and said I will go.
I told my mum about it and she immediately told me to change D-instructor as it was rather ridiculous for him to continue with the lesson even though I'm sick and moreover, I have to pay. As I was feeling really uncomfortable, I decided to rest at home and told my instructor that I would still pay him if he wanted but I would not go for the lesson as I'm not well. He didn't reply about the $ at all and we just booked the next time slot.

Hence, today after D-lesson. I paid him today's lesson and he has to return me the change but he said I owe him money because I 'pang sei' him that time. I told him I was really sick and all and we started to bickle again. Blah Blah Blah... I told him, "Teacher, you must trust me ah, next time I woudln't already...I show you MC next time la ok..." I understand his stand because some of his students will lie to him and in the end that time slot will be wasted. With all the "teh-ings" he trusted me :) Thank God! Actually he's quite a nice man la... :p

It's still early left 4 more days to Lai Shao~ hahaha.... HAPPY BDAY SHAO! LOL!

Met up with the delicious (but the guys wouldn't around awwww). We wanted to go to a restaurant at parco bugis junction called "Nando" if I'm not wrong but the queue was too long and we decided to change the eating place. Hence we decided to go to "Ben10" for dinner but once we reached there, the restaurant was renovating. No choice, we went into Illuma to look for some place to eat. The third level of Illuma has many eatery, hence Shao decided on "The State Empire" and we went there to give it a try. It serves western food.

The prices of the food were range of $10 or more. Here we go allowing the pictures to do the talking :)

Gave chinese tuition today and WAHAHAHA!! The lesson was hilarious. My kids are really becoming more bizarre but joyful ^^

One of my p2 boy will always make weird noises like "bomb bomb beh" or "kala kala" don't know what he doing (-.-) no exception for today.

Today one of my p3 girl digged her nose in class and she just digged openly! Gosh my dear girl! I told her it's unhygienic to dig nose in public and gave her a tissue paper to wipe. To cover up her embarrassment I just said that it's ok to dig nose because everyone does but do not do it in public as it's not a pleasant action to be seen. She told me that it doesn't really matter to her as she also digged openly in class. Super funny! And here they go again telling me how their friends dig and eat it and some stick them on the wall... Did it remind you of your childhood as well? hahaha! It's quite hilarious when you think back...

The Liar Game - Final Stage

Went to watch The Liar Game - Final Stage yesterday :) If you like drama and especially movies that require your brain to think, you should go catch it!

The main actress was the one who acted in Death Note 2 - Misa Amane^^ Pretty!
The main actor also looks really cool in the movie.

This movie is about trust, perseverance and human greed. It's really interesting how the whole movie of game comes about and you see how smart the plot is :) Really love smarties!
But in the movie, comes about perseverance and love from the main actress where she kept on her faith of trust although she was betrayed by people again and again.
This movie also shows the ugly side of human - Greed. Where actually if there is unity and trust, nothing is impossible~

Love it! *but not as fantastic as death note & 20th century boys*

Argh Argh Argh~ so many things to blog about but too busy with it :))

12th D-lesson

Really had a 'fun' time driving today and bickering with my instructor... we totally rubbish all the way in the car.

Firstly, he laughed at me because I pinned up my fringe for clearer view for driving. He said that I looked like those olden days maiden. So I say him back and we cross swords. LOL!

After that we talked about Chinatown. I told him there were a lot of 变态叔叔 there and he said if I didn't look at them how would I know they are looking at me. Of course you will feel something if someone keeps staring at you right? And here we go again... hahaha!

He also started to chat on the phone while I'm driving (-.-) Didn't even pay attention to my driving and while he was chatting on the phone, I heard "No, No" and I thought he was telling me to stop or I did something wrong, but it wasn't. He was talking to the person on the line and cos of that I stunned awhile and the steering wheel moved left and right and my instructor also moved left and right... super funny.

There are a lot more bickering conversation today during driving and we just rubbish all the way throughout the lesson (-.-) Great.

Now Let's get back to the original Dil Dil outing! ^^ Met up with my Dil on 1/8/2010 and indeed a great catch up and chilling session :)

Something disheartening happened that made me feel like sharing to warn my girls and boys~ I guess it's part and parcel of growing up that you learnt...

Shall not bring up the oppressive story but I love what my pal, 'R' has brought it up that made me understand and get down to brass tacks a little more. Thanks for the cheer 'R'.

This was what he said...

Warning 1:

"Ok firstly the lie part. Erm, normally... guys would lie when they're out wif frens.. preferably wif gals in the grp and when a guy said tat just be gd frens and still demand u to sms or call, in a good way, he really still wanna be more than frens but in a bad way, he's simply just a possesive type of guy..."

Warning 2:

"When a guy order u to go home must contact him. Sometimes, it can be due to gals like guys to do that somehow in order that they show tat they care.. but sometimes it may be offensive. So hard to say la..."

Warning 3:

"A guy that post personal comments to bring someone down, in my dictionary is just an AS guy, Attention Seeker. He wants the whole world to feel his sorry ass when he's not even in a r/s with the girl, and yet this caused his life to be in total wreck? LOLS... Come on... get a life... this is pea shit. Guys, side guys especially brothers. Unless 1 is wise enough to see the whole picture first b4 judging..."

Personally I don't really agree that when all guys says "take your time" it means "hurry up". Probably this only reflected on certain guys but I do agree that brothers can side with brothers, friends can side with friends but unless you are wise enough with the full picture before judging.

[but let's not judge :)] because ~

I was having a really bad cramp last night that I had to sleep in pain. Wanted to go Sunday service but was still feeling ill hence rested in the morning till afternoon where I had to prepare for my 10th D-lesson.

Today's D-lesson was rather fun as I drove in heavy rain. First time driving in such a weather which I think it is good as I can at least get the feel of driving in heavy downpour for future use. After that met up with cxj to learn some guitar skills from him. Really useful!! HAMMERING! hahaha..It really makes a tune different but really needs a lot of practice. Thanks cxj :p

I thank God for this fruitful and enjoyable day ^^

Tomorrow will be the counting down of last 5 days of work in GFK ASIA...will miss you delicious darlings :( Let's cherish the last 5 days working together and getting that batch 5 done!

argh... I have so many things to say but haven't post yet :p

Today was a great day with cooling weather for a good flag day. Thank God for good weather! Went to Bugis MRT to do flag day and you can really see how human behaves when being approached for donation.

Hi Miss/Sir, will you like to donate to help the needy?

How they behave:

(1) TOTALLY IGNORE U... *they don't understand my language?

(2) SUPER GENEROUS... *you don't have to ask them for donation. They see you and they donate with a big heart

(3) SMILIES... *smile and walk away

(4) DIRECT REJECTION... *an immediate 'No Thanks' and 'NO'

(5) ASKED THEN DO... *so obvious that he/she already saw you but only after you asked then they donate

(6) REAL OR FAKE... *many says they donated already(without stickers), hmmm...

(7) WEIRDOS... *offers you newspapers, ask weird questions or gives you pervertic smiles

(8) SIAM-ERS... *walk in another directions immediately when they saw us or try to move and avoid us

This shows that there are still helpful and kind people in this world :)) Which category do you belong to? hahahaha...

Really thank God for this interesting activity... but I forgot about taking a photo of us (-.-)

After that went to have lunch with my sweety and we chilled at my house once again(^^) Planned to go for church service but DA YI MA said "Hello Ah Bee I'm here once again" and cramp came to say 'Hi' too so didn't manage to go. Hopefully will be feeling better tomorrow! Tomorrow's the 10th D-lesson! Chiong! (^-^)

Was doing my quiet time and today's message ponders my own heart, as well as the hearts of christians around me...

Exodus 20:1-17

Ten Commandments for the Covenant Community

1 Then God gave the people all these instructions[a]:
2 “I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery.
3 “You must not have any other god but me.
4 “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. 5 You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. 6 But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those[b] who love me and obey my commands.
7 “You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.

Simplify them:

The 10 commandments~

(1) No other Gods, only me!
(2) No carved Gods of any size, shape or form of anything whatever, whether of things that fly or walk or swim.
(3) No using the name of God, your God in curses or silly banter.
(4) Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it Holy. Work 6 days & do everything you need to do but the 7th day is for God only. (a lot of christians cannot fulfill this)
(5) Honor your father and mother so that you'll live a long time in the land that God is giving you.
(6) No Murder!
(7) No adultery!
(8) No stealing!
(9) No lies about your neighbour!
(10) No lusting on properties of your neighbours including servant, wife etc. Don't set your heart on anything that is your neighbour's!

Thoughts:

+ When our desires are incorrect, we violate the 10 commandments.

+ If we couldn't rest on Sabbath day, it shows that we refuse to rest because we couldn't get what we wanted. (a lot of my christian friends sometime sees $ more important than going church :( )

+ We misuse God's name when we use it to justify something that WE WANT to do.

+ We make ourselves comfortable by putting gods our of wealth & relationships because we don't want to have to put all our trust in God. (Is that You?)

+ Remember that God's gifts to you were designed for you and you alone so don't think that others are better than your own and covet someone else's things. (are you contented in your looks? your finance? your family background? or are you blaming and complaining?)

+ Contentment is realizing that God has already given me all I need! (When is the last time you thank God for everything?)

When you covet someone else's things
Thinking that they're better than your own,
Just remember that God's gifts to you
Were designed for you and you alone.

California Fitness

Went to California Fitness Gym with S2 today after work and the facilities were awesome! Was also shock by the how ladies just change opening in the toilet~ hahahaha... It was really quite an experience :) Thanks S2 for bringing me there!

It was good work out and knowing my body mass is under my height, I am a little merry :))

We used the sauna and steam shower and it was really WONDROUS~ shiok ke mama :))
We should really keep fit in this period of time when we step into adult hood.

Praise The Lord! The Bee has passed her driving Final Theory Test hence she can move on to Driving Practical Test :p

Was really praying very hard for a pass so that the $$ I've spend on driving will not be a waste. God is good all the time! He provides me $ to get the things I needed ^^ Praise God and thank all for the wishes, encouragement and prayers!! I'm loving it~

Hope I can get my license sooon soon soooonn~~ ^^

Really thank God for buddy too who accompanied me to go for the test and celebration~ woohoo!!!!! We ate at Merchant Court for celebration!! My pocket pork kai ~ but still am really elated to the max :D

Had a wonderful Friday night 25/6/2010 at a pub watching soccer match with my darling, mr banana and kp :)) The match was aweeeeeeeeeeeeeesome!!! (met denghao! waha!)

We met up to have our dinner first at promo's Japanese foodcourt...

After that the match!! but first our face ~~ HAHA

The match was extremely superb although it's a draw. Brazil and Pork keh were good! I was praying all the way and God really helps!! BECAUSE RONALDO MISSED THE GOAL! hahahaha!!!
By the way, I support Brazil!! hehe.. I kept praying for Brazil to win and amazingly, that incredible miracle happened. The goal obviously was not guarded at all and Ronaldo the pro striker couldn't kicked into the goal! Amazingly, the ball just missed by a few cm from the goal post! WOOHOO~ hahahahahahhahahahah...

So in the end Brazil was in first position! So glad!

Went to Macdonald to pack lunch in the afternoon and WA LA! So coincidently, guess who I met? I actually met my seconday school friend! And we haven't really talked since the splitting of the class in secondary 3 - Cheng Xun :) *babes you all remember him?

He saw me first and was shocked as he wondered whether it was me and he called my name and I, ultimately, was shocked too... hahahaha :D
